The artist

My artistic practice is rooted in the relationship between personal experience and the larger social and cultural narratives that shape identity. I use my own body and experiences as starting points to explore femininity, cultural heritage, self-realization, freedom, and the expectations placed on women. Through self-portraiture and symbolic imagery, I transform personal experiences into visual stories that invite viewers to find their own connections within them.
